First things first! I need to gather information from you about your post-secondary plans.
I will also be posting a timeline of everything you should be doing as a senior, so you can plan your year! It's going to go fast, so hold on and make sure to come in and see me for help!
Underclassmen - Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen!
Be sure to pay attention to the posts that I post on Parent Square! This is where you will receive information on Presentations in the Career Center and opportunities that are offered around town for volunteering and possibly job shadowing, Internships, and employment. Don't let yourself miss out on opportunities because you don't check the posts!

Hey Huskies!
Mr. Ruben Amavisca has been a part of the Career Center since Hanford West opened up as it's own high school. Mr. Amavisca is a graduate of Corcoran High School and attended COS, West Hills College, Feather River College, and Fresno State! Go Dogs! Mr. Amavisca is also very involved in the Marching Band world as an instructor, designer, and adjudicator.
Ruben is extremely passionate about his job and tries his best to do what is best for all students at Hanford West.
