The West Hills College Lemoore Upward Bound Program is an early college intervention program that targets high school students that show strong commitment and interest towards enrolling into college. The program is funded by the Department of Education and hosted by West Hills College Lemoore. Our main objective is to promote academic achievement and higher learning by offering an array of support services that will foster educational success.

The Upward Bound Program includes a six-week summer program at West Hills College Lemoore. During the summer, participants are encouraged to take part in a six week educational series that concentrates on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as well as English, American Sign Language, Biology, Political Science and many other subject areas. Students will have the opportunity to learn about college and get a sense of what it is like to be college students by enrolling in college courses.
